    hi there, we live in a 1950s detached house and have a chimney in the middle of the house in the kitchen. we wish to remove the wall on one side only about 10ft of wall - this is the line of wall that runs across most of the middle and length of the house how do i know if it is supporting?

    trimming leylandii

    i have a HUGE leylandi and laurel hedge that i want to cut by about a third in height. somebody suggested that this would kill off the leylandii as they don't like being trimmed too harshly. is this true??
