From what Ii gather they are ordering a new part and coming next week, I just wondered if what he said was possible that "it may have fixed itself"? We had the heating on for about 10 mins which is normally planty of time for the pressure to rise to 3.5. No water comes out the outlet so I...

thanks for the reply with the info, that may be beyond me so I've emailed a few local companies to see what they can do. The british gas one off fix costof £168 to supply and fit the needed part sounds a good deal to me.

Fair enough - any idea how much they cost to buy and for someone to fit, either to replace this knackered one or a remote one? Just a rough idea so we know what we are getting into

After reading the FAQ due to my Puma's pressure rising from 1 bar to over 3 when the CH comes on, then dropping again when it's off, I've discovered my PV is full of water. When it reached 3.5 on the dial in the red no water came from the boilers escape pipe outside though? I pushed the...

So to make sure I am looking at the correct item to remove a wire from - if you look at my first picture again, is it the item directly behind the PCB board (sort of below the piece of yellow/green tape in the pic)? It´s round and you can see about 4 screws on it in equal spaces around...

POtterton PUma 80 Low Pressure - solution help needed plz

Wow, thanks for the speedy reply. We are already back to the olden days (well my parents days!) of filling a bath with a kettle! It´s actually more work to get to the LPSW (I think) so if the item in my picture is the right thing to disconnect to make it stop, would it be ok to do this...
