Worcester Bosch High Flow 400 pump runs continuously

Hi Our trusty Worcester Bosch High Flow 400 pump has started to run continuously. Some have suggested a stuck valve, others a faulty pub. Is there anyway for me to diagnose which it is? Many thanks J

    Worcester Highflow 400 Thermostat

Thanks for the quick reply. The knob is fine, it's the thermostat that's failed so I'll get hold of a replacement. Can I bypass it in the short term till a new part arrives, it's -3˙C outside and we've no heating. Cheers J

    Worcester Highflow 400 Thermostat

Hi I've got a Worcester Highflow 400 boiler, and the central heating thermostat on the front panel has broken, the knob just turns around and is not engaging. As we never use it any more, having a room thermostat, is it ok to bypass this one, and if so how. Cheers J

How to add a thermostat to Danfoss CP715

Hi Got a Danfoss CP715 that needs replacing (the buttons are getting harder to push), and the simplest method seems to be to replace it with the newer version of the same. I don't have a room thermostat at present so would like to add one, which everyone seems to say is an easy exercise, but...

    Odourless floor oil needed.

Hi I've got an old timber floor that gets a lot of traffic. 10 years ago it was sanded down and covered in Teak Oil, which brings out this amazing red colour in the wood. The only problem is it stinks for ages after being done. It needs reoiling now, but I'd be interested if anyone knows...

Do I have enough depth for new floor?

Yeah, it is isn't it. Think I may be able to play with the levels a bit, and gain an extra 10mm across the floor which should make life a bit more comfortable, losing it across the last metre to the adjoining floor. What fun.

Do I have enough depth for new floor?

Hi We are replacing our kitchen, including the kitchen floor. Have so far removed 4 old floor layers taking us back to the concrete base, which now leaves about 30mm of depth to the adjoing floor. The idea was to lay thermal tiles, then electric underfloor heating and then stone/ceramic...

    Kitchen downlighter position

Hi Planning the position of some LV downlighters, 7 in total. Is there any rules in part P as to the position of them in relation to sinks, hob, hood etc. Also, planning on using 2 x 210w transformers but preferably through 1 dimmer, so 350w of lights, which I assume I will need a 700w...

    Preparing Softwood Floorboards

Hi We are laying a new softwood floor, 25x200mm boards. How long do you recommend we leave the boards in the house before laying to minimise gaps appearing in the floor.
