    Dyson DC04 suckless!

This is interesting as my DC014 Animal one has a very similar problem. It has plenty of suck through the hose, however when used as a normal vacum cleaner on the carpet it does buxxer all except the brush spins. I have checked all pipes and they are clear.

    Light switches and neons

Currently my mother in laws garage has a light switch at one end. She would like one at the other end and one indoors. Now I have no problem with this (wiring wise) however the one indoors would need to have a neon so that she could tell if the light had been left on in the garage inside without...

    Replacing brake pipes

If the break fluid reservior feeds the ABS accumulator (sp) then I would have thought if you seal this (say with cling film between the cap and reservior) it will cause a vacum thus stopping the travel of fluid through the accumulator. Also unless you have all the materials and tools for the...

No as it keeps coming undone! I could tighten it further, but very little I was just wandering if I should use some kind of lock thread for this.

    securing taps?!?!

I have stripped down a basic single bathroom basin tap as the water flow was nearly non existant. I have cleaned it all out and all seems ok. However where the top part of the tap screws into the part which remained connected to the basin (the housing for a better word) when you turn the tap off...

    Another bathroom tiling question

You have several options with regards to the flooring sub-base. Tops Tiles do a product similar to no more ply that is about 6mm thick from memory and both of these are ment to be a direct replacement for WPB plywood, however I have never personally used either so can not comment on how good/bad...

    Calls from bank

Depending on how their accounts work the money could be instant or take anything upto 3 days to transfer between account, or upto 5 days if delays in BACS. Now the reason this takes days is due to the BACS system relying on a physical process of downloading money from your account to a...

How to change brake discs on a Vauxhall Corsa C 1.4 16v?

From my experience on Peugeots, however it cannot be very different. 1 Loosen wheel nuts. 2. Jack car up and then remove the wheels. 3. Wrap old cloth around the brake fluid reservior, and remove the cap. 4. Remove the brake pads, and push the piston in the caliper fully home. This...

Hot water runs dry at the taps.

Yes I do, also when doing this should I leave the hot tap on the sink open to see if this helps/cures the problem, or should all the hot taps be in their closed positions? I assume you turn the hot on the bath mixer tap when doing this!?!?
