Hi Dave, I didnt go under the boiler to isolate the CH, (are you kidding) I just set the switch on the boiler to hot water only, and turned the thermometer in the hallway to zero. Then turned on the hot water tap to see which pipes got hot, was this not correct ?. Edna

Thanks for your useful comments Dave, perhaps you can give an explanation as to why the hot water is only luke warm, to a nurse who has worked all over the xmas period with 3 deaths on the ward, and just wants to come home and have a hot relaxing bath/shower. Edna
