Huge success: work-around, inexpensive secondary glazing

de dietrich dishwasher not rinsing properly

Strange, seems reasonable on the bottom level, but the top level often has residual lime-looking bits on the dishes and glasses. Any ideas? I have taken out all the removable plastic parts inside the machine - the arm and everything to ensure they are clear inside to allow for easy water flow.

The Genius of Milliput: Saved us £100's - and negates need for new immersion tank. This is more of a report on a success rather than a request for help now. Briefly: 1. Bought a new house: amongst many other problems, the thermostat kept failing in the immersion tank. (evidence of an...

Hairline leaks in inaccessible lead pipes

Our VOKERA Compact HE Combi Boiler seems to cut out when running hot water from our bathroom. It simply "goes cold" whilst taking a shower, etc. - when we look at the front panel on the boiler itself, the red light has come on. We have to reset on the Mode Selector Switch so we get the green...

    Blocked Heat Exchanger

Our Biasi Boiler (Riva Compact) has decided to go "all hot and cold" on us when pouring a bath. Central Heating works fine. My mate said it's probably a blockage in the Heat Exchanger. My question is: 1. Considering I replaced a pump in another combi boiler last summer, will I be competent...
