    timber frame bottom plate fixing

    can someone help on this, whats the best way to fix a timber wall stud on a concrete lintel thats spanning 2.2m - one end of the concrete lintel keyed in house other end sat on inside skin wall at dpc level. don't really want to be drilling into the concrete lintel.

    150mm dpc workaround

    hi folks, according to building regs the DPC should be 150mm higher than the outside ground level however i cannot achieve this due to garden patio height being 1 course bricks 80mm difference. Would a drainage channel running along the building be acceptable maintaining this 80mm dpc level ?

    550 stub ?

    is this allowed - shouldnt the return on the right be 550mm as per the regs ? the rear is a flat roof single storey extension, the kitchen area would have originally had a single opening door, this is a 2 storey house with this being the back holding a first floor
