Anyone tried replacing a door seal on a Zanussi washing machine. Mine is torn and I can get a replacement for it but can't quite see how it connects at the drum end. There is a bit of plastic there but no obvious way to get it off. I've made a temporary repair on the seal so dont want to hack...

I have no experience of plumbing jobs but want to remove a bidet. It has both hot and cold water pipes and a plastic waste. Can I just cut the copper water pipes with a hacksaw, push a plastic stop-end on the end of both pipes, then just cut the waste pipe, unscrew the bidet from the floor...
