I have a NEWLEC alarm system with PIR sensors. One of the sensors appears to stay on permanently showing a red light. I cannot set the alarm because of this. Does any one know what the problem would be?

Just joined the forum. Should have stated that a registered installer fitted the boiler in my own home but has went ski ing and unable to contact him. Was looking for advice . NOT SARCASM!!!!
