i have a radiator in an attic room that i would like to move. the heating system is unvented. Can i drain down (top floor only), move rad, & then use filling loop to repressurise or is this against regs for DIY? thanks

Do the inserts have to used at all fittings or just when using brass compression fittings onto plastic pipe?

i'm pretty sure that if you reach down into the cistern, the flushing mechanism rotates a few degrees, disengages & then can be lifted out. Isolate & empty cistern first o'course

friend of mine reckons he can get hot water, no problem downstairs but upstairs, although getting flow, the water is cold. It needs to be repaired by someone who knows what they're doin but is this a common problem with an obvious answer? gary.

after placing the ceramic lid on the toilet cistern, i'm screwing the button housing through the lid & into the plastic flushing system. Screwed in all the way the lid is not held as there is still a 2 or 3mm gap between chromed plastic component & the ceramic lid. If i adjust the system down...
