    To simplify the above posting, the rads are back on, we've let some water back in but there's only a little and the rads are not getting hot. The pressure is very low and we need to sort that out, please advise if you can. Thanks.

    draining a radiator with problems

    I am trying to drain a radiator in order to fill a crack in the plaster behind it. I have turned off the valve on one side but there is a westherm thermostat on the other side and I cant figure out how to turn it off to stop the flow of water before i drain it. can anyone advise me?
