Thanks. Was told that should drain 1 raditor to reduce pressure in the system before topping up the pressure vessel. is this correct?

my engineer is not keen to do this he as says he has to take boiler off wall etc to fit and has suggested a new boiler. Do you know if you should drain part of the system down before pumping up the pressure vessel
