Accenta 6 Alarm,no code,please help!!

We have just moved into a new house and there is an Accenta 6 alarm fitted,the old owner very kindly left without giving us much information,including the code!! We had to turn the main switch on the fuse board off for our boiler,when turning it back on we have realised whoever fitted the alarm has wired it into the boiler switch,so the alarm now goes off when you turn it on and i have no code to turn it off!! has anyone got any ideas before i have to call out an engineer.Thanks a million in advance.

You could try 0123 as this was the default code, by the sounds of it a new battery is required for the alarm.

I managed to get hold of the estate agent and they got in touch with the previous owner who gave me the old code.
