Hi. I'm wanting to paint over the cardboard covers of my lever arch files with acrylic paint. I can get two canisters of Reeeves acrylic paint for about £16, which is one liters worth. of paint. Reeves paint will be sold as artists paint. Do I have a cheaper alternative, perhaps acryic paint that is not sold as artists paint? Any recommendations? Thanks.

£16 for for 1L of paint sounds very reasonable- that said, artist paints are very different to water based eggshell or emulsion. You may find that the Reeves product will leave you with a finish that will leave paint on your hands if you touch it with wet fingers.
