Hi guys
I want to knock down a single skin brick shed in our backyard.
It's approx. 3m³ all up.

Problem is this: it's about 30cm away from the neighbours fenceline at the back of our property, and the neighbour has a pool on the other side that's within a meter.

I'm petrified that if I start to knock down the shed, there is a risk that the back wall collapses towards the fenceline; through the fence; and damages the pool.

Does anyone have any advice of a safe way to demolish something like this?

Best option I've thought about so far: build a wooden brace out of pine timber that hugs the structure, and then take the bricks out, one at a time, brick by brick, row by row, working my way top down..

Thanks everyone!

You can take down front and sides leaving a few bricks on the corners which will keep rear stable then take that down by removing individual bricks.

Empty the shed. Take the roof off. In the top middle of the wall closest to the neighbours drill the mortar out and remove the the brick. Repeat taking 4 or 5 courses out in the middle so you end up with 'V' in the wall.
Now start by gently but firmly tapping individual bricks on the outside of that wall to knock the bricks into the shed. I expect You will find it easier to be inside the shed footprint and knock the bricks towards yourself. You will need to gently knock out the bricks on the end walls as well.
Slow but sure will get the brickwork down.

thanks @Diver Fred
Are you suggesting to keep it as a V shape as that will ensure the overall structure remains strong whilst majority of bricks being removed?
Any issues with my approach if I just go brick by brick top down in a 360 degree rotation sort of speak?
many thanks
