Recently bought an AEG hob (6.9kW) and have looked at the connection plate - it has earth, neutral and 2x L1 connections (says for black and brown in manual). The L1 parts don't look to be connected or linked in any way but just sitting next to each other in a plastic carrier. Question is do I use 3 core and disregard one of the L1's and if so which one (black or brown) or do I link the 2x L1's with a piece of wire (6mm) and still use 3 core 6mm?
