Affect on combi boiler of draining down mains supply

Hello

I need to turn off my mains water supply and drain down the pipes in order to replace a scale inhibitor cartridge located in the garage where the mains comes in. Will this have any adverse effect on my combi boiler (like requiring it to be re-pressurised)?
