After plastering, how long a wait is it before I can paint?

Hi,

I've just had a guy in who has skimmed our ceilings to hide the hideous artex. The lad has done a terrific job, but I forgot to ask him how soon I can paint on it?

Is it ok to start as soon as it looks dry, or should I wait a bit longer?

Any help advice will be apprecited.

Soon as its dry is ok..if its just a skim in this weather indoors should be about 3-4 days
