Hi
just recently, after flushing the toilet a loud noise which I assume is air in the system can be heard. This noise doesn`t appear though when using either hot or cold taps.
I have tried turning the tap down at main inlet to the house to reduce pressure and this has helped reduce the noise but Im sure this is not the right way to fix it.

Any advise please ? thanks, John

what sort of loud noise ?

sounds like the float valve diaphragm rubber is knackered.

Hi again,
Thanks for the reply, the noise is a groaning sound as the toilet flushes. once it is empty and starts to refill the noise goes away. John

HI

replace the diaphragm or the float valve.
