Hi,
Just got some 'Alarm Flex ' from ToolStation to finish my installation and thought I was ordering 6c Stranded , as the pic shows in their catalogue/online, but turns out its solid core, though properly labelled as Alarm cable Type 2.

Seems some debate about if solid core should be used, said to be prone to being nicked when stripped and breaking etc and less tolerant to tight bends ... ?
(Bit surprised when there is so much solid core Cat 5 cable in use )
Wonder if I should return it and get stranded from elsewhere ?
