Alpha CD32C No heating

Hi all
This is my first post.My alpha cd32c boiler has developed a fault today whereby the hot water is fine but when I switch to heating nothing happens.I have uncliped the flow switch to release the white button & the heating kicks in.Any advice would be appriciated.
