I have a wall in the kitchen (which is about to be refitted) that is reasonably smooth after removing the wallpaper but not quite good enough to paint. I am going to glue and skim. At one end of the wall there is a curve which is worst at the bottom of the wall where it is about 3/4" out in the middle and which feathers to nothing about 4ft up the wall. I need to bring the surface up so that the wall is straight. I have rendered (sand + cement) and hardwalled before but what is the right product to put on a smooth wall where the depth will be 3/4" at most and feathering to nothing? I've never used bonding, is this the right stuff and can it be ruled off like render. Thanks in advance.
