I'm installing a new bathroom, I've started to take off the old plasterboard ready to install some Aquapanel around the shower/bath area - I've reached the dormer area and the board that's already there has a foil backing - I'm guessing this is a vapour barrier because it's out in the dormer. Can I remove this and replace with Aquapanel or should I leave it as a foil backed board?
Thanks,
Steve.

I don't think there is much point changing it if it isn't in a damp or wet area. It will also save you a few bob ;)

You only need to Install Aqua panel or cement based board where the shower area is not the whole bathroom

As Roy says there is no point in removing foil backed PB unless its where the shower will be
