Ardex DPM 1C question

Hi

Just bought this (Ebay) and just realised its version Feb 2017 but this stuff only has a shelf life of 12 months.

Do you think it's still OK to use or has anyone done so? I have talked Ardex technical support who said that for legal reasons they have to say that but that its tested up to 18 months.

I don't want to put anything down and then have to scrap it off if it doesn't work.

I thought you said andrex!
Anyway it will last a lot longer than 18 months once installed, i guess they are worried about uv damage or temperature fluctuations? Personally I'd use it after inspection.
