We are renovating a Victorian house and have put in double glazed windows, insulation between the floors and in partition walls.

Do we need to put air bricks into the walls to avoid condensation now that the house is a lot more air tight? Would these be at the level of the floor space or on the walls?

My builder says they aren't needed but another person says they are.

Can anyone advise?

Have you put insulation under the ground floor?

If you have you could be letting moisture build up. This could lead to wet rot dry rot.
