ariston 31 mffi

Hi I have problem with an ariston 31 mffi, when the hot water is turned on the fan will run and i get ignition then after a few seconds the fan will stop. I have put a multimeter on the fan supply and there is no power to the fan when it stops then after a few seconds again the fan will run as power is restored?

I would look at the aps first. It may not be proving the fan so boiler stops and attempts cycle again.

does it get as far as flame ignition? if so then yes you need to make sure the APS isnt dropping out.

If the fan just keeps cycling on/off with no spark/gas then it sounds like a PCB fault
