if removed without damaging do you need a "asbestos skip" as mothers garage roof is leaking, what would you advise to replace with ? its only got a low pitch and is approx 6m by 4m.would like it insulated slightly at the same time ,thank you

Ring your council first, but I removed my asbestos downpipes and gutters and took them to my dump.
I had to make an appointment and take ID. The material wasn't damaged, and was double wrapped in very tough plastic.

It is required to dispose of in a responsible safe manner.
You can not put in an ordinary skip.
Council tips often have skips but I expect limit the amount you put in them and how.
I would fill in extra joists and deck then torch on felt it.
