Blue Flashing Light: The problem is the TV is auto searching for channel updates. It's doing this at 7 o'clock. You need to go into digital TV mode and then into (the tuning) menu where you can turn off auto updates. You often can't use the TV whilst the light flashes or you get the channel jumping you are experiencing. To get round this is turn off switch at the wall, wait for light to go out and turn it on again which will hopefully allow you to do the menu alteration.
