I've recently moved into a second/top floor flat in a converted house and notice bad smells coming from the kitchen and bathroom/toilet on a daily basis. Any suggestions how to fix this?
Also, I have low water pressure which sometimes turns to a trickle, presumably when others in the building use the supply. I've heard of booster pumps, are they effective or would be the problem be better solved by some other method? My main concern is to stop the shower water from going hot and cold.
