fit a new one, it is easier and quicker than repairing the old one. it will only cost a few pounds.
but if you like, you can buy a repair kit and re-washer the old one afterwards, at your leisure, and keep it as a spare for next time. I keep a spare next to the loft tank.

If it is a part 2 ball valve then replace the washer!
If part 1 relace the lot!!
