Bath full of brownstuff :(

Well last night after my bath ( I really wasn't that dirty I promise lol) i pulled out the plug and the nothing happened. We tried plunging (with the over flow bloked) several times to no avail. Later on the the washing up water came up in the bath. finally I put a load of washing on and the waste was coming up and down in the kitchen sink before being mostly emptied into the bath. Now Im stuck with a blocked kitchen sink (which I cant use) and a bath full or brown liquid. Toilet seems to be working fine and bathroom sink. Any ideas?

Inspection chamber would be a good place to look

Independant lady but not really clued up on diy type stuff.

I live in a first floor flat and no one else seems to have issues in the block

Is there a caretaker or maintenance team.

Is it rented or owned flat.

if you can't DIY then you need a plumber. Sooner the better.

unless you are on the ground floor, if no-one else has a prob then it is a blockage within your wastes.

I don't suppose anybody puts "flushables" or wipes down the loo, or fat down the sink?

No was just looking for some advice/tips, obviously if I cant rectify will phone a plumber. Am quite capable of trying.
