Bathroom extractor fan not fitting to extraction pipe

Hi - need some help. Our builders have had to leave project early due to liquidation. We have two extraction fans that need fitted but the problem is the the extraction fan pipe outlet is 4” and so is the width of the extraction pipe connector. See a pic of the outlet below.

Any ideas how I get around this?
