Bathroom floor advice

Just finished lining our bathroom floor with WBP ply in preparation for a new "Lino" flooring.....What can i do to the WBP and the area around the toilet to protect it from getting wet and damaged when folks "Miss" the pan etc etc.

The old laminate flooring we have removed had "Blown" and "separated" around the toilet base, hence why I am asking if there is a few options to protect the new ply lining.

There is a about 1/2 inch gap around the base of the toilet where "tolerances" werent as good as they should have been , is it a good idea to fill this gap with a sealant of some sort to both seal and build up the level so the new covering sits well.

Ideally you need to remove the pan, ply the floor, lay the floor covering and then replace the pan and seal the pan to the floor covering with a bead of silicone.

Great advice, thanks, however lifting the Pan is not feasible, is there a "filler" available that will do the job, and also do you think I should "fill" over the screwa fixing the 6mm Ply down......

If there is floor under the gap, the ply will need featheredge anyway and this could be used to fill the gap if it is not to deep. Lino is a very different product to vinyl or LVT, might be easier to get the fitter to sort the issue.
