Bathroom light switch

I am trying to fit a new 1 way bathroom ceiling switch. There a 3 wires, Black- Red- Green- The switch has L1,L2 and Com L, and another seperate connection ( gold screw like a normal plug connection).... If the instructions came with a colour code i'd be laughing,but can't work out the bloody colours cos the instructions are black and white.....The instructions say:
one wire into L2
one wire into (gold screw looking thing)
one wire into Com L
Any idea anyone what goes where with what colour.....Really appreciate the help before i fuse the house

Red into COM.

Black into L1 OR L2.
