Hi guys,

I did ask a question about running some LED lights in the bath panel
I was hoping to take a feed from the wiring in the loft and pass it down the hollow wall. this is looking likely to be a major problem so i wondered if it possible to take a feed from the shaver socket feed (this is also on the lighting socket) the existing lights on the circuit are 5 x 12 downlighters and 3 x bedroom lights. the breaker is rated at 6amps.

I did want to put dimmable LED lights but that seems to be an expensive option so i wonder if i could use 12v lights that are dimmerble.

sorry in advance for so many questions

many thanks in advance

Andy

hi guys,

have managed to answer some of my own questions!

i can find a bathroom dimmer from sensor.co.uk
i can get 12v bulbs and dimmerble transformers from tlc

so all i need to find out now is if i can feed from the shaversocket light feed and can you also confirm that a well sealed bath panel (and under bath) is classified as a zone 1?

thanks
Andy
