Guys,
I'm planning to hang up a mirror with build in lighting. It's wall mounted.
I don't hav eth eunit yet, so I'm not sure if this is low voltage, but considering that it uses a fluorencent tube, I suspect it's 240V.
How do I wire it up in line with regulations? Do I need to burry the cable in the wall, or can I run it in a cover just outside the wall? It will be mounted in a zone 2 area (the unit is IP44 zone 2 rated).
For some reason I am not fully comfortable with running a cable outside the wall, but if there are covers that will allow this safely, then I could accept such a construction.
The cable has to run for no more than 30-40 cm until it goes into the ceiling.

Nothing stopping you using mini-trunking as long as you don't breech the IP rating of the casing. Just make sure you seal everything up where the cable enters.
