I have a new sink to install, and it is lower than the old one. Can I still hook up the p trap and drain if it is lower than the outgoing drain? or do I have to raise up the whole sink to get above the outgoing drain? ...The bottom of the sink is higher than the outgoing drain, just the plug mechanism, p trap etc would be lower than the outgoing drain.
