Just turned my boiler back to heating after the summer. It keeps firing up for a few seconds then shuts down. This is constantly repeated. It appears my dial control for the heating has no effect ( turned up or down ) yet if I turn my HW dial up, the heating fires up!
I have also just noted that when my boiler is on water only. I can run a tap and the boiler fires up, however after about 30 seconds it turns of then fires up again.
