I've just moved into a new property with a Baxi 35/60 Boiler and would welcome some help understanding how the hot water works.
As well as the hot water there is a separate water tank upstairs with 2 electronic switches "hot water" and "boost".
Can you tell me if the Baxi heats the hot water and the heating (and the switches on the tank are just an override if you need extra hot water in the middle of the day) or if the Baxi is just doing the heating?
The Baxi has a hot water and heating dial and I had assumed that if set to that option then it will heat both and that the water would come through hot in the taps within seconds of turning it on but that isn't happening so now I 'm wondering if the Baxi just does the heating?
I have the instructions which say it should do the water too but it doesn't seem to be doing so!
