Beko fridge freezer

Hi,
I have been given a Beko model CS461 FFW fridge freezer. When I switched it on it worked great dropping the freezer temperature to -36 and fridge to around 5. The temperature slowly warmed up to around -2 freezer. I switched off and took the back off to see if anything was frozen up internally but nothing was obvious. Switched back on and freezer dropped to -36 again. Now its warmed back up to -3? Any ideas? Is it a thermostat problem? Thanks.

Is it kept in a heated area? some fridge freezers rely on the fridge thermostat to work, if the fridge is cold enough the freezer doesn't cut in and it warms up. I know some beko's have freezer guard to stop this but I don't know about your model

Hi, Thanks for your reply, It is kept in a garage. As far as I know it has freezer guard on it and should work.
