best way of cleaning upvc window frames

Hi all,

As the subject states, what is the best way of cleaning upvc window frames (white)?

The outside is ingrained with dirt, and the inside has build up of paint/varnish/sealant where previous owner has decorated and not masked it off.

White spirit cleans them, if that wont get them clean, you can try cream cleaners, you will then need to get more abrasive, if its paint a razor blade.

Try some cream cleaner like Jif or whatever it is called now. Paint can be scraped off with a hard bit of plastic as long as the upvc is not scored or marked.

You shouldn't really be using anything else but mild washing-up liquid although I know of someone who once used white T-cut to clean his frames. Never tried it on window myself though
