boiler/central heating

My central heating was working yesterday, now the radiators won't turn on this is the situation:

- the boiler is working and heating up water fine

- the draton rf3 wireless thermostat seems is on but the receiver doesn't seem to be picking up a signal

- I can put the receiver on manual to turn the central heating on but when I have done this the radiators still do not heat up

Does anyone have any suggestions of what the problem could be?
