I have been searching and can't find the answer to this anywhere so hopefully someone can help??

We have a boiler that is being fitted in a new office. The flue will run along inside the suspended ceiling but where it meets the wall there is a 250mm steel beam with concrete ceiling above so no space to run the flue out. Can you put a bend in and drop the flue lower than the boiler flue exit point? All the pictures and advice shows bends being run up the way or at the same level and I can't see any with it lower down and then exiting the wall.

Thanks
Mac

If its a condensing boiler then no.

If a non condensing boiler then perhaps!

You will have to diamond drill the concrete ceiling and use a vertical flue terminal. Also, all joins within the suspended ceiling will need to be accessible.

Get a gas engineer to fit it instead of asking how you can fit it yourself. ;)
