I have a Thorn Apollo 15/30 boiler, when the boiler fires up everything seems o.k. then after approx 3-4 minutes i get banging in the pipes for 5 seconds which sound like air it then it stops and everything runs fine.
I have checked the pump which is new and it runs when the boiler fires upas normal but then just as the banging starts the pump stops and when the banging stops the pump starts running again.
Any ideas what the problem could be.
