I'm fitting a new bathroom in a different room. I intend to fit a towel rail style radiator. The pipes will go under the floor then be chased into the wall. I will be using solder fittings.
I've bonded all the copper pipes, fittings etc with 6mm earth cable and run a bit to where the radiator pipes will be. will I be alright bonding to the copper pipes under the floor, or does it need to be able to be inspected ? (if so then will a removeable floorboard in the corner be acceptable ?).

So the bonding tag has to be permenantly on display ?

'er indoors isn't going to like that....

You also have to bond to the lights and electric shower if you have one

I thought as long as the tag was accesible then it was to the standards, therefore a removeable floor board would be acceptable.
Its like saying that you need your water pipe or gas pipe not in a cupboard because the door is hiding the tag.
just my opinion of course, I dont have my regs book at hand.
Cheers

it's under a floorboard...

(1) you can't see it so what will lead you to look under the boards? And how wil you know which one?

(2) the moment your back is turned, the householder will put down tiles or laminate flooring and the tag will never be seen again.

you could always solder the bonding wires to the pipes, soldered joints don't need to be accessible for inspection.
