Bosch Classix 1400 Express trips the electrics

Hi - help please! My Bosch washing machine trips the socket breaker everytime I switch it on. Have changed the fuse to higher one (and the fuse works fine in another appliance) It does this in any socketI have tried it in....

I also have a BOSCH dryer and cannot usually run them at the same time - same problem

Electrician says it the machine.....shop say its the electrics but they replaced the machine once but it still does it which would imply the electrics but no other appliance trips the electrics....

I would try another electrician, I am only guessing but from your description it sounds like the MCB on your ring main is not coping with the load of the washer & or drier, it may be faulty. When you say it trips the socket breaker I presume you mean everything else stays on, so that would seem to rule out the RCD tripping because of an earth fault.

Thanks for that - now the challenge...finding a decent electrician that will come out to me sometime this year!
