Has anyone any idea why the lower arm spray will not rotate on our Bosch dishwasher. I have checked everything, filters, etc. It's not catching on any utensils, just refuses to turn.

does the circulation pump operate the top spray arm

line them both up front to rear and see if they move at all

or if your really unlucky could be diverter valve on the heater box total strip down

Is the water level high enough when it's running? When my last Bosch was dying I had to keep chucking litres of water in it so that the pump had enough head to turn the arms. Level should be at least up to the top of the sump.
