BS3036 Breaking Capacity

Does anyone know what the short circuit capacity of a BS3036 fitting is and what the maximum PFC can be for this type of protection? Thanks..

For future reference:

However if you are a student doing C&G 2330, I didn't tell you that and you are going to have to find out for yourself.
 
3036's take approx twice their rated capacity to rupture immediately.
 
Also remember that in a domestic install, they are always backed by the DNO's fuse, which allows them to be installed where the external PFC is higher than the device rating.

Not if the DNO main fuse is also a rewireable - very common in older houses. :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:
