Last week I had a garden office built by a firm that specialises in these things. Surprisingly today I noticed that the roof is very uneven and bubbly looking in parts. I don't know what it's made from, but it looks like EPDM or similar. Luckily, I haven't yet paid the balance for the office, so the firm will hopefully be keen to put this right. What should I be asking them to do? Re-roof the whole thing, patch it or something else?

Are you saying that they shouldn't have done the job at this time of year? It was below freezing on the day they installed the office.

That doesn't really help me to know what to ask them to do now - what would you suggest?

The roof is a mess, you cant lay epdm below 5% the glues wont go of.

The only chance they could have had was by using contact.

At least it will be water proof, hold the roof covering money back until warmer weather, then get a new piece of rubber properly glued down.

You might also need to ask them if theres a 20yr warranty.

surely the glue will go off on any angle so he meant the temperature, seeing as its been rather cold
