Not sure if this is the right forum or not.....
We're having a new central heating system installed next week and i'm prepping by making some channels in the walls to bury the pipes which will then be covered when we have the walls skimmed.
The question is, what is the best way to do this ? I've make an initial channel using a masonry chisel - this is just as deep as the top layer of plaster. I need to go a bit deeper but am afraid of cracking the bricks. I thought of maybe using an angle grinder to cut the channels then chisel out - is this a good idea or is there a better way ??
The pipe work is plastic and i'm going to put into some plastic conduit in the channel before plastering over.
